The shot was stopped by Oswaldo Passos but with some difficulty. When Laranja Mecânica AF's Ernani Félix in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Ernani Félix put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Oswaldo Passos. Laranja Mecânica AF's Abu Gosoc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Túlio Alcântara in the 36th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Laranja Mecânica AF's Tiago Freire got a free kick in the 36th minute. João Paulo Koehler kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Tiago Freire recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Laranja Mecânica AF booed when Joinville was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valdo de Lara didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Joinville's Dráuzio Diniz got a free kick in the 46th minute. In the 47th minute, Percival Dias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ernani Félix made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Ernani Félix's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Oswaldo Passos was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Valdo de Lara during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 59th minute, Valdo de Lara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 69th minute, Ernani Félix made a precise shot to the right of Oswaldo Passos. Joinville's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. 72 minutes into the match, Joinville's goal looked a bit too open when Beto Cabral came free, but Oswaldo Passos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oswaldo Passos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernani Félix in the 73rd minute of the match. Beto Cabral blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Oswaldo Passos having to make a save. Percival Dias hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Oswaldo Passos came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Laranja Mecânica AF's Ernani Félix. But to his dismay, Ernani Félix quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. If Túlio Alcântara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th match minute, Joinville was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Paulo Koehler to maneuver through the defense. Laranja Mecânica AF's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
