With a little luck, Graminea's Celio Campoo got control of the ball when Enginalp Türkdoğan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Celio Campoo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Patrik Giliusson's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. 5 minutes had been played when some careless play by Graminea's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cutberto Clemente was slow to take the kick. During this time Maricá FC's players had a chance to rest. 13 minutes into the game, Patrik Giliusson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Celio Campoo. Patrik Giliusson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. The referee felt a red card was in order, 18 minutes into the game, when Fiori Baiano put in a rough tackle. After 19 played minutes Graminea got a freekick which was hit by Fiori Baiano. After 25th play minutes Patrik Giliusson shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Celio Campoo and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 28th minute, Enginalp Türkdoğan made a precise shot to the right of Celio Campoo. Graminea's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Enginalp Türkdoğan put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Celio Campoo. Enginalp Türkdoğan's late challenge caught a Graminea's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Enginalp Türkdoğan helped the player get up and apologised. Enginalp Türkdoğan hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Lasse Kogo kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aglauros Kokoris stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Humberto Vidal in the 51st minute of play forced Maricá FC's goalkeeper Baltazar Pemjean to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 53rd minute Enginalp Türkdoğan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celio Campoo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58th match minute, Graminea was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David da Silva to maneuver through the defense. Maricá FC's Patrik Giliusson got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Celio Campoo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patrik Giliusson, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. After 67 played minutes Maricá FC got a freekick which was hit by Patrik Giliusson. In the 69th minute, Patrik Giliusson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Baltazar Pemjean showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Léo Ceresso in the 71st minute of the match. 72 minutes into the game, Humberto Vidal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-2. Baltazar Pemjean was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Graminea's Celio Campoo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patrik Giliusson in the 76th minute of play. Celio Campoo came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Maricá FC's Enginalp Türkdoğan. But to his dismay, Enginalp Türkdoğan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-2. After having played for 79 minutes, Enginalp Türkdoğan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maricá FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enginalp Türkdoğan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Aírton Corrêa fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Graminea's protests and gave Aírton Corrêa a yellow card for diving instead. After 80 played minutes Graminea got a freekick which was hit by Aírton Corrêa. David da Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baltazar Pemjean having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Maricá FC's Clóvis Prado got a free kick in the 86th minute. After having played for 90 minutes, David da Silva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Graminea's supporters crossed their fingers, but David da Silva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Celio Campoo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enginalp Türkdoğan, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Maricá FC's Patrik Giliusson pulled a muscle in his back after 95 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Maricá FC made a substitution. Bernardo Lopes replaced Patrik Giliusson. The supporters of Maricá FC booed when Graminea was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iuri Amorim didn't get a good kick on the ball. 98 minutes into the match, Graminea's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardo Lopes came free, but Celio Campoo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Graminea players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Maricá FC.
