The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Blumenauense's Richard Cabral got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Osmar Alagoano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Paulo Lucas in the 5th minute of the match. 6 minutes into the match, Hugo Sena notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Blumenauense's Osmar Alagoano. Osmar Alagoano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Blumenauense booed when ZURC FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Naci 张政西 didn't get a good kick on the ball. José Augusto Soeiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augusto Brito, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 18th minute, Thiago da Cunha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 19 minutes, Henrique de Medeiros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Blumenauense's supporters crossed their fingers, but Henrique de Medeiros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dalmo Quadros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. José Augusto Soeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edson Mangueira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wiliam Aguiar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. José Augusto Soeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Osmar Alagoano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo Sena in the 35th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Hugo Sena managed to get in a good position for a shot. ZURC FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hugo Sena was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Osmar Alagoano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 45thth minute of the game Hugo Sena who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Blumenauense's Osmar Alagoano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Hugo Sena put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Osmar Alagoano. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

In the 53rdth minute of the game Hugo Sena who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Blumenauense's Osmar Alagoano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Blumenauense's Dalmo Quadros got a free kick in the 55th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Sena in the 56th minute of play forced Blumenauense's goalkeeper Osmar Alagoano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nico Lopes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Blumenauense's Richard Cabral got a free kick in the 59th minute. When ZURC FC's Hugo Sena in 63 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Osmar Alagoano guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. In the 68th minute Hugo Sena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osmar Alagoano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Henrique de Medeiros came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Blumenauense fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Henrique de Medeiros couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Blumenauense getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Richard Cabral hit a great ball. ZURC FC's José Augusto Soeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edson Mangueira in the 73rd minute of play. When Henrique de Medeiros came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Blumenauense fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Henrique de Medeiros couldn't finish the play. 75 minutes into the game, Edmílson Sergipano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ZURC FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Blumenauense the free kick. The audience was convinced that Hugo Sena's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Osmar Alagoano was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. If Júlio Cordeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. ZURC FC's Válbson Arósio shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 88th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Osmar Alagoano but with some difficulty. Blumenauense's Osmar Alagoano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Blumenauense from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Hugo Sena kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Osmar Alagoano. That made the score 0-5 in the 92 minute of play. In the 95th match minute, Blumenauense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dorival Massa to maneuver through the defense. Osmar Alagoano acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 96th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Nico Lopes. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. ZURC FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
