Juninho Velloso came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by CF Nascy United's João Francisco de Moraes. But to his dismay, João Francisco de Moraes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 13th match minute, Os LargadoS N.A.S. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Andrade to maneuver through the defense. After 13 minutes, Hélder Lira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CF Nascy United and the Os LargadoS N.A.S. players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Os LargadoS N.A.S.'s Jailson de Carvalho got a free kick in the 17th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hélder Lira in the 19th minute of play forced Os LargadoS N.A.S.'s goalkeeper Juninho Velloso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 21 minutes into the game, CF Nascy United's Hélder Lira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Juninho Velloso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hélder Lira in the 24th minute of play forced Os LargadoS N.A.S.'s goalkeeper Juninho Velloso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Os LargadoS N.A.S. defense, Guto Goiano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Juninho Velloso. The Os LargadoS N.A.S. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Juninho Velloso should have stopped the shot. In the 33rd minute, Aírton Matorin made a precise shot to the right of Juninho Velloso. Os LargadoS N.A.S.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Juninho Velloso came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by CF Nascy United's João Francisco de Moraes. But to his dismay, João Francisco de Moraes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. In the 43rd match minute, CF Nascy United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guto Goiano to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Túlio Penha in the 45th minute of play forced CF Nascy United's goalkeeper Geovânio de Queiroz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juninho Velloso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aírton Matorin, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Túlio Penha was the one to do the kick off. CF Nascy United's Geovânio de Queiroz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Túlio Penha in the 57th minute of play. When Daniel Simão fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CF Nascy United's protests and gave Daniel Simão a yellow card for diving instead. Mazinho Dracena shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Through an outstanding action, after 63 minutes, Juninho Velloso successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 65 minutes into the match, Os LargadoS N.A.S.'s goalkeeper Juninho Velloso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Guto Goiano. CF Nascy United's Geovânio de Queiroz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabinho Simão in the 67th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Os LargadoS N.A.S.'s goal looked a bit too open when João Francisco de Moraes came free, but Juninho Velloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juninho Velloso was out of position in the 72 minute of play, and João Francisco de Moraes capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. João Francisco de Moraes really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. The crowd rose to their feet as CF Nascy United's Aírton Matorin slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Juninho Velloso. That made the score 0-7 after 80 minutes of play. 92 minutes into the match, Os LargadoS N.A.S.'s goalkeeper Juninho Velloso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hélder Lira. Hélder Lira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Juninho Velloso made a huge save. Hélder Lira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
