In the 5th minute of the match, Ricardo Mota got a very nice opportunity to score, but Geovânio de Queiroz was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Geovânio de Queiroz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardo Mota, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Geovânio de Queiroz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Mota, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cido Saldanha hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. João Francisco de Moraes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Falcão de Almeida tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 17 minutes into the game, Belisca Xana Sport Club ®'s Chico Pinho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Geovânio de Queiroz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 20th minute, Agostinho Messias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Geovânio de Queiroz was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Ricardo Mota. After 22 played minutes CF Nascy United got a freekick which was hit by Nelson de Mendonça. After 23 played minutes, Belisca Xana Sport Club ®'s Ricardo Mota shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Geovânio de Queiroz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Belisca Xana Sport Club ® reached it. 30 minutes into the game, Ricardo Mota recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Geovânio de Queiroz. Ricardo Mota showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. In the 33rdth minute of the game Chico Pinho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CF Nascy United's Geovânio de Queiroz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 35 minutes of play, Belisca Xana Sport Club ®'s Dênis Lucas made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Geovânio de Queiroz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dênis Lucas struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Geovânio de Queiroz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Belisca Xana Sport Club ®. In the 39th match minute, CF Nascy United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nelson de Mendonça to maneuver through the defense. Geovânio de Queiroz made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Ricardo Mota sent off a good shot on target. Geovânio de Queiroz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Chico Pinho in the 44th minute. Dênis Lucas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geovânio de Queiroz having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

With a little luck, Belisca Xana Sport Club ®'s Falcão de Almeida got control of the ball when Hélder Lira tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Tadeu Oliveira fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CF Nascy United's protests and gave Tadeu Oliveira a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to CF Nascy United getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Tadeu Oliveira hit a great ball. In the 53rd minute of the match Ricardo Mota shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Geovânio de Queiroz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to CF Nascy United getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Tadeu Oliveira hit a great ball. Geovânio de Queiroz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chico Pinho in the 56th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in CF Nascy United's zone, Ricardo Mota stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Geovânio de Queiroz came out of the goal and Ricardo Mota tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 58thth minute of the game Chico Pinho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CF Nascy United's Geovânio de Queiroz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Dênis Lucas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 61 played minutes CF Nascy United got a freekick which was hit by Tadeu Oliveira. After a rather tough play, Belisca Xana Sport Club ®'s Enéas da Mata got a free kick in the 75th minute.
