But to his dismay, Agostinho Messias quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Rodrigo Galatto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hélder Lira, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. After 36 minutes of play, CF Nascy United's Hélder Lira made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rodrigo Galatto was left in no man's land by his defense there! 39 minutes into the match, S.C Corinthians Paulista's goal looked a bit too open when Hélder Lira came free, but Rodrigo Galatto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aírton Matorin in the 45th minute of play forced S.C Corinthians Paulista's goalkeeper Rodrigo Galatto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hélder Lira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

When the final whistle sounded CF Nascy United left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than S.C Corinthians Paulista.
