Túlio Penha's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Paulo Pontes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. Pedro Paulo Pontes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Túlio Penha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th match minute, Tauatu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geovânio de Souza to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabinho Simão in the 37th minute of play forced Tauatu's goalkeeper Pedro Paulo Pontes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedro Paulo Pontes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Túlio Penha in the 39th minute of play. After 46 minutes, Geovânio de Souza mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tauatu and the Os LargadoS N.A.S. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Geovânio de Souza hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Túlio Penha in the 48th minute of play forced Tauatu's goalkeeper Pedro Paulo Pontes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Túlio Penha made a kick off. 57 minutes into the match, Os LargadoS N.A.S.'s goal looked a bit too open when Dráuzio Neves came free, but Juninho Velloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabinho Simão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Juninho Velloso came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Tauatu's Dráuzio Neves. But to his dismay, Dráuzio Neves quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dráuzio Neves in the 65th minute of play forced Os LargadoS N.A.S.'s goalkeeper Juninho Velloso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Os LargadoS N.A.S.'s Juninho Velloso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernesto Cearense in the 66th minute of play. In the 73rd minute, Fabinho Simão got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Tauatu getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Jailson Madureira hit a great ball. 80 minutes into the match, Os LargadoS N.A.S.'s goal looked a bit too open when Ernesto Cearense came free, but Juninho Velloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juninho Velloso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elói Cardozo, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Dráuzio Neves managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tauatu's supporters rose to their feet, but Dráuzio Neves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juninho Velloso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 86 minutes of play, Tauatu's Ernesto Cearense made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Juninho Velloso was left in no man's land by his defense there! Juninho Velloso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geovânio de Souza in the 93rd minute of play. Geovânio de Souza kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Fabinho Simão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tauatu were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Os LargadoS N.A.S. for a fine match.
