In the 4th minute, Horacio Jesus Espinace reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Pedro Paulo Pontes. The goal made the score 1-0. The audience was convinced that Horacio Jesus Espinace's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Paulo Pontes was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. In the 23rd play minute Tomasz Bakes came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Pedro Paulo Pontes. 3-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomasz Bakes got free with Pedro Paulo Pontes in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Geovânio de Souza to make the kick off. When Empate Esporte Clube's Tomasz Bakes in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Geovânio de Souza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pedro Paulo Pontes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomasz Bakes went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Tomasz Bakes succeeded in the game's 90th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 5-1. Dráuzio Neves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There was no doubt that Empate Esporte Clube were the better team. Empate Esporte Clube's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
