Eugênio Nascimento started the match with the kick off. After 3 played minutes São Carlos got a freekick which was hit by Armando Cardoso. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugênio Nascimento in the 11th minute of play forced The Mandalorian's goalkeeper Miguel Alcântara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Mandalorian's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave São Carlos the free kick. After a rather tough play, The Mandalorian's Felippe de Senna got a free kick in the 19th minute. When Eugênio Nascimento came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the São Carlos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eugênio Nascimento couldn't finish the play. Miguel Alcântara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armando Cardoso, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Simão Carioca kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Miguel Alcântara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matías Pimenta in the 27th minute of play. Matías Pimenta took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Miguel Alcântara. Miguel Alcântara dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. The audience was convinced that Eugênio Nascimento's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Miguel Alcântara was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. When the match clock showed 33 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Eugênio Nascimento sped through The Mandalorian's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Miguel Alcântara. 38 minutes into the match, Matías Pimenta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Miguel Alcântara. The Mandalorian's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Matías Pimenta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Miguel Alcântara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugênio Nascimento, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. 50 minutes into the game, Robinho Pinheiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. In the 50th match minute, São Carlos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robinho Pinheiro to maneuver through the defense. In the 53rd minute, Célio Paiva ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. William das Neves was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugênio Nascimento in the 60th minute of play forced The Mandalorian's goalkeeper Miguel Alcântara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 61 minutes into the match, Matías Pimenta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Miguel Alcântara. After 63 played minutes The Mandalorian got a freekick which was hit by Claudinei Quintal. Matías Pimenta came free with the goalkeeper in the 70th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Miguel Alcântara could save by the left post. 71 minutes into the match, Eugênio Nascimento dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Miguel Alcântara, 1-7. The audience thought a goal was coming when Matías Pimenta got free with Miguel Alcântara in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Miguel Alcântara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugênio Nascimento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With 86 minutes on the clock, Geovânio de Sousa commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Claudinei Quintal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 92nd minute Claudinei Quintal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but William das Neves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When The Mandalorian's Célio Paiva in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye São Carlos's goalie prevented a goal. The The Mandalorian fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. São Carlos were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
