Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Sirinhaem's Elano Trigo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cesinha Gonçalves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without César Varela having to interfere. The long shot by Alexsandro Porto in the 12th minute really tested Kleanthis Variamidis's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gilvan Bertassi in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kleanthis Variamidis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Robinho Souza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Amana's supporters rose to their feet, but Robinho Souza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kleanthis Variamidis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. César Varela didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cesinha Gonçalves went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 31stth minute of the game Gilvan Bertassi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sirinhaem's Kleanthis Variamidis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Elano Trigo came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Sirinhaem fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elano Trigo couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cesinha Gonçalves in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck César Varela prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 39th match minute, Sirinhaem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amadeu Vargas to maneuver through the defense. Elano Trigo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but César Varela read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. In the 45th minute of the match Alexandre Nogueira sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but César Varela skillfully saved the ball. After the first half Sirinhaem were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

A collision led to Amana getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Moisés Capixaba hit a great ball. In the 56th minute Cesinha Gonçalves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but César Varela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The nice shot from Elano Trigo in the 58thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but César Varela had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Inácio Mazza blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kleanthis Variamidis having to make a save. In the 62nd minute of the match, Jaime Trigo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but César Varela saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 64th minute, Amana's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Elano Trigo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Amana's Gilvan Bertassi got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cesinha Gonçalves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without César Varela having to interfere. 74 minutes into the match, Amana's goal looked a bit too open when Cesinha Gonçalves came free, but César Varela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Amana's Moisés Capixaba got a free kick in the 78th minute. In the 80th minute Cesinha Gonçalves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but César Varela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 83 minutes into the match, Sirinhaem's goal looked a bit too open when Orlando Siqueira came free, but Kleanthis Variamidis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kleanthis Variamidis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inácio Mazza in the 86th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gilvan Bertassi in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kleanthis Variamidis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 88 minutes into the game, Leonel Varela was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sirinhaem's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Amana the free kick. After 88 played minutes Sirinhaem got a freekick which was hit by Leonel Varela. If Cesinha Gonçalves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
