Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Amana's Gilvan Bertassi started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Ligeiro F.C's Betinho Trancoso got a free kick in the 3rd minute. In the 7th minute Inácio Leite shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but César Varela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adelino Ramalho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. César Varela didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adelino Ramalho went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Inácio Leite scored 0-2 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of César Varela, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 20th minute, Inácio Leite made a precise shot to the right of César Varela. Amana's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. After 23 minutes of play, Ligeiro F.C's Betinho Trancoso made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. César Varela was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alessandro Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. César Varela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adelino Ramalho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Inácio Leite had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Amana defense, Inácio Leite kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of César Varela. The Amana fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that César Varela should have stopped the shot. César Varela came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Ligeiro F.C's Inácio Leite. But to his dismay, Inácio Leite quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Inácio Leite made the kick off in the second half. Orlando Siqueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Jeferson de Queirós tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 55 minutes into the match, Ligeiro F.C's Adelino Ramalho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that César Varela narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Paulo Renato Romero struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. César Varela didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ligeiro F.C. 0-7 became the score in the 59th minute when Adelino Ramalho elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Adelino Ramalho was extremely unlucky when he, in the 71st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The audience thought a goal was coming when Betinho Trancoso got free with César Varela in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 73 minutes into the match, Amana's goal looked a bit too open when Inácio Leite came free, but César Varela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alessandro Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. César Varela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 85th minute, Gilvan Bertassi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jeferson de Queirós was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-9. César Varela made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Betinho Trancoso sent off a good shot on target.
