Amana's Gilvan Bertassi got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vito de Sousa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gilvan Bertassi's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Benjamin Sampaio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gilvan Bertassi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Orlando Siqueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vito de Sousa having to interfere. The supporters of Amana booed when EB F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexsandro Carvalho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gilvan Bertassi struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Vito de Sousa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Amana. In the 37thth minute of the game Gilvan Bertassi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but EB F.C's Vito de Sousa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 41 minutes, Dedé Neto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. EB F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dedé Neto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gilvan Bertassi to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Breno Alvarenga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 55th minute, Olívio da Fonseca ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. César Varela was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dedé Neto during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 62 minutes into the match, EB F.C's goalkeeper Vito de Sousa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Orlando Siqueira. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gilvan Bertassi in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vito de Sousa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gilvan Bertassi in the 68thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Vito de Sousa, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Gilvan Bertassi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. César Varela made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. EB F.C walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
