Décio Guedes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Melo, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. 11 minutes into the match, ✦ Mr. Anonymous Team ✦'s goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Melo came free, but Décio Guedes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dudu Fantini in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Décio Guedes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dudu Fantini in the 19thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Décio Guedes, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Curima's Lucas Melo in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. If Dudu Fantini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lucas Melo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Dudu Fantini came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Curima fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dudu Fantini couldn't finish the play. Décio Guedes made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Dudu Fantini sent off a good shot on target. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Ramón de Queiroz scored 2-1 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Till Kemmling, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Décio Guedes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucas Melo in the 61st minute of the match. Dudu Fantini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Décio Guedes having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ramón de Queiroz got free with Till Kemmling in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
