An unexpectedly hard shot by Jarbas Brodel in the 14th minute of play forced Parelheiros FC's goalkeeper Andres Aureo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st match minute, Parelheiros FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cipriano Ceresso to maneuver through the defense. A throw-in in the 27th minute of the game was made by Adhemar Pereira with Betão Gomes as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Andres Aureo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jarbas Brodel in the 29th minute of play. Andres Aureo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Miguel Domingues in the 30th minute. The supporters of Parelheiros FC booed when Sporting Toledense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Basílio Linhares didn't get a good kick on the ball. Parelheiros FC's Andres Aureo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Parelheiros FC from getting a goal against them. When Parelheiros FC's Nelsinho Messias in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 69 minutes of play, Sporting Toledense's Miguel Domingues made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Andres Aureo was left in no man's land by his defense there! 74 minutes into the match, Basílio Linhares notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Parelheiros FC's Andres Aureo. Andres Aureo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The throw-in from Vânderson Alves in the 77th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Parelheiros FC's Ricardinho Gaúcho. Parelheiros FC's Nelsinho Messias got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Parelheiros FC defense, Miguel Domingues kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Andres Aureo. The Parelheiros FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Andres Aureo should have stopped the shot. Andres Aureo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jarbas Brodel in the 88th minute of play. Andres Aureo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Domingues in the 93rd minute of the match.
