Dudu Fantini could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Agnaldo Chaves made a huge save. A collision led to Curima getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Fabrício Duarte hit a great ball. After 6 played minutes Curima got a freekick which was hit by Benê Lira. Till Kemmling made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maurício de Souza in the 7th minute of play. In the 10th match minute, Curima was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Léo Quadros to maneuver through the defense. Dorival Pires received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Till Kemmling tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dorival Pires during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Vila Jacui getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Dorival Pires hit a great ball. In the 20th minute of the match Bruninho Abreu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Agnaldo Chaves skillfully saved the ball. With his leg Agnaldo Chaves managed to avoid a goal in the 25thth minute, when Curima's Dudu Fantini fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Agnaldo Chaves was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bruninho Abreu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 27 minute of play. Agnaldo Chaves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Melo in the 34th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Vila Jacui's Felippe Lira got a free kick in the 37th minute. After 40 played minutes Curima got a freekick which was hit by Bruninho Abreu. In the 44th minute, Lucas Melo made a precise shot to the right of Agnaldo Chaves. Vila Jacui's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Felippe Lira made a kick off. If Maurício de Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 55th minute, Lucas Melo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Agnaldo Chaves was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. After some careless play in the Vila Jacui defense, Lucas Melo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Agnaldo Chaves. The Vila Jacui fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Agnaldo Chaves should have stopped the shot. 62 minutes into the match, Vila Jacui's goal looked a bit too open when Dudu Fantini came free, but Agnaldo Chaves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 63 minutes into the game, Bruninho Abreu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Agnaldo Chaves was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bruninho Abreu scored 6-0 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Agnaldo Chaves, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Felippe Lira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Agnaldo Chaves stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lucas Melo's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. Agnaldo Chaves came out of the goal and Edmundo Abreu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Edmundo Abreu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 96 minutes, Maurício de Souza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vila Jacui's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maurício de Souza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee ended the match the Curima players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
