The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Wakanda fv FSCMZ getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Aílton Ferreira hit a great ball. Parelheiros FC's Nelsinho Messias got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Parelheiros FC booed when Wakanda fv FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vânderson Paranaense didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nelsinho Messias took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jeferson Fantini. Jeferson Fantini dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nelsinho Messias in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jeferson Fantini prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After the first half Parelheiros FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Nelsinho Messias struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Jeferson Fantini didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Parelheiros FC. After a rather tough play, Wakanda fv FSCMZ's Yan Guedes got a free kick in the 64th minute. Jeferson Fantini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nelsinho Messias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 68th play minutes Nelsinho Messias shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Jeferson Fantini and just under the crossbar into goal. A collision led to Parelheiros FC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Nelsinho Messias hit a great ball. Rogério Batista charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rogério Batista the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Wakanda fv FSCMZ booed when Parelheiros FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rogério Batista didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 81st minute of the match Vágner Abraão shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Andres Aureo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The Wakanda fv FSCMZ supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Parelheiros FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Parelheiros FC.
