Andres Aureo came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Curima's Edmundo Abreu. But to his dismay, Edmundo Abreu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After 16 played minutes Curima got a freekick which was hit by Gualter Teles. After having played for 19 minutes, Lenílson Couto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Parelheiros FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lenílson Couto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Curima defense, Nelsinho Messias kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Till Kemmling. The Curima fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Till Kemmling should have stopped the shot. Andres Aureo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Léo Quadros in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th minute, Nelsinho Messias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Andres Aureo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucas Melo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 33 minutes, Nelsinho Messias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Parelheiros FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nelsinho Messias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Andres Aureo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dudu Fantini, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nelsinho Messias to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Parelheiros FC's Andres Aureo got control of the ball when Dudu Fantini tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 52nd match minute, Parelheiros FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardinho Gaúcho to maneuver through the defense. Andres Aureo was out of position in the 59 minute of play, and Lucas Melo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lucas Melo really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. Nelsinho Messias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Curima's attentive Gualter Teles managed to snatch the ball when Witalis Wos made a throw-in in the 67th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Curima's Gualter Teles got a free kick in the 68th minute. 71 minutes into the game, Lucas Melo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Andres Aureo. Lucas Melo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. Dudu Fantini could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Andres Aureo made a huge save. Dudu Fantini's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Andres Aureo firmly grabbed it by the left post. Andres Aureo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucas Melo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Guilherme Arana hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Andres Aureo made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Dudu Fantini sent off a good shot on target. In the 91st minute Léo Quadros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andres Aureo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Parelheiros FC's Andres Aureo got control of the ball when Dudu Fantini tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match was over Curima could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Parelheiros FC throughout the match.
