After 9 minutes, Caco Furlan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Folhetkadr FC and the Vila Jacui players grew even worse after the yellow card. Caco Furlan hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Luisinho Dracena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Agnaldo Chaves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Felippe Lira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 21 minutes into the match, Luisinho Dracena had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Agnaldo Chaves. Vila Jacui's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luisinho Dracena was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Jaime Negri stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Felippe Lira's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Jaime Negri made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Maurício de Souza sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Vila Jacui defense, Luisinho Dracena kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Agnaldo Chaves. The Vila Jacui fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Agnaldo Chaves should have stopped the shot. In the 33rd minute, Maurício de Souza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jaime Negri was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. 36 minutes into the match, Vila Jacui's goal looked a bit too open when Luisinho Dracena came free, but Agnaldo Chaves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th minute Serginho de Andrade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agnaldo Chaves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 38 played minutes Vila Jacui got a freekick which was hit by Dorival Pires. Agnaldo Chaves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caco Furlan, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. In the 46th minute, Luisinho Dracena made a precise shot to the right of Agnaldo Chaves. Vila Jacui's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Felippe Lira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Vila Jacui got a freekick which was hit by Felippe Lira. 54 minutes into the game, Luisinho Dracena cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. Agnaldo Chaves was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Nilmar Couto fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vila Jacui's protests and gave Nilmar Couto a yellow card for diving instead. Luisinho Dracena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agnaldo Chaves having to interfere. 67 minutes into the match, Maurício de Souza notched a goal, 3-4, to the right of Folhetkadr FC's Jaime Negri. Jaime Negri was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Felippe Lira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felippe Lira's late challenge caught a Folhetkadr FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Felippe Lira helped the player get up and apologised. In the 75th minute, Felippe Lira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Vila Jacui's Felippe Lira got a free kick in the 79th minute. 83 minutes into the game, Maurício de Souza was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vila Jacui's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Folhetkadr FC the free kick. Folhetkadr FC's Jaime Negri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felippe Lira in the 87th minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, Vila Jacui's goal looked a bit too open when Serginho de Andrade came free, but Agnaldo Chaves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Vila Jacui's Agnaldo Chaves got control of the ball when Luisinho Dracena tried to sneak it across the goal line. Folhetkadr FC's Jaime Negri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felippe Lira in the 93rd minute of play. After having played for 95 minutes, Felippe Lira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vila Jacui's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felippe Lira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Folhetkadr FC played a much better game than Vila Jacui and deserved their victory. The Vila Jacui players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
