Carlos Augusto de Sena kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Michel Arce in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Manoel Tobias prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Anarcos E.C booed when Nerazzurri was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nelsinho Sarmento didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 11 played minutes, Anarcos E.C's Heleno de Freitas shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Amílton Sena came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Anarcos E.C reached it. Carlos Augusto de Sena's late challenge caught a Anarcos E.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carlos Augusto de Sena helped the player get up and apologised. Carlos Augusto de Sena hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. 16 minutes into the match, Nerazzurri's goal looked a bit too open when Heleno de Freitas came free, but Amílton Sena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 21 played minutes Nerazzurri got a freekick which was hit by Elivélton Rosado. Romário de Salles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Manoel Tobias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amílton Sena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Sarmento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nerazzurri's Romário de Salles got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Manoel Tobias didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Romário de Salles went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. 42 minutes into the match, Anarcos E.C's goal looked a bit too open when Michel Arce came free, but Manoel Tobias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Romário de Salles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Manoel Tobias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Romário de Salles made a kick off. Anarcos E.C's Manoel Tobias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romário de Salles in the 52nd minute of play. When Michel Arce came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Nerazzurri fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Michel Arce couldn't finish the play. 62 minutes into the match, Nerazzurri's goal looked a bit too open when Sydney Leme came free, but Amílton Sena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manoel Tobias didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Romário de Salles went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. 72 minutes into the match, Luizão Queiroz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Amílton Sena. Nerazzurri's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luizão Queiroz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Nerazzurri's Amílton Sena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Sarmento in the 75th minute of play. Mazinho Meireles hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. After 80 played minutes Nerazzurri got a freekick which was hit by Clóvis Leite. A hard shot by Heleno de Freitas from long distance, 84 minutes into the match, got Amílton Sena's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. When Heleno de Freitas fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Anarcos E.C's protests and gave Heleno de Freitas a yellow card for diving instead. In the 92nd minute there was a penalty for Nerazzurri. Laércio Reis stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Manoel Tobias. 3-1. Nerazzurri walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
