Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Valle Vista AFC's Fernando de Castro started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Romeu de Salles fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Rodriguinho Amorim, passed just outside the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when César Saldanha got free with Rodriguinho Amorim in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 7th match minute, COLORADO DA OLARIA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by César Saldanha to maneuver through the defense. In the 9th minute, César Saldanha ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rodriguinho Amorim was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After a rather tough play, Valle Vista AFC's Valdo Paranaense got a free kick in the 13th minute. Rodriguinho Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romeu de Salles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th minute of the match Délio Sena sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vitório Moraes skillfully saved the ball. In the 21st minute, Gilvan Brasil got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fernando de Castro might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vitório Moraes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fernando de Castro ran back to his position shaking his head. 26 minutes into the match, Valle Vista AFC's goalkeeper Rodriguinho Amorim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by César Saldanha. Romeu de Salles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Rodriguinho Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 39 played minutes, Valle Vista AFC's Wellington Diniz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Vitório Moraes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Valle Vista AFC reached it. The supporters of Valle Vista AFC booed when COLORADO DA OLARIA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisco Domingues didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gilvan Brasil took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vitório Moraes. Vitório Moraes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Romeu de Salles to make the kick off. Gilvan Brasil could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Vitório Moraes made a huge save. Gilvan Brasil struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Vitório Moraes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Valle Vista AFC. If Romeu de Salles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fernando de Castro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zé Carlos Alagoano kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Valle Vista AFC's zone, César Saldanha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodriguinho Amorim came out of the goal and César Saldanha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Valle Vista AFC's Fernando de Castro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Vitório Moraes. That made the score 1-2 after 77 minutes of play. After 80 minutes, Valdo Paranaense mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Valle Vista AFC and the COLORADO DA OLARIA players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 81st match minute, Valle Vista AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valdo Paranaense to maneuver through the defense. César Saldanha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind COLORADO DA OLARIA's goalkeeper Vitório Moraes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Vitório Moraes made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Gilvan Brasil sent off a good shot on target. If César Saldanha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fernando de Castro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 97th match minute, COLORADO DA OLARIA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zé Carlos Alagoano to maneuver through the defense.
