After 14 minutes of play, Villa FC's Claudinei Vaz made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luís Paulista was left in no man's land by his defense there! Villa FC's Claudinei Vaz got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vasqueiro FC's Luís Paulista proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Vasqueiro FC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horácio Linhares in the 27th minute of play forced Villa FC's goalkeeper Bruninho de Queirós to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luan Bertassi kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Villa FC's Bruninho de Queirós played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dorian Varela in the 30th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

João Carlos Massa hit a great ball. 61 minutes into the game, Dorian Varela recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bruninho de Queirós. Dorian Varela showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. In the 65th minute, Davi de Salles left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Villa FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Claudinei Vaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Murillo Lima charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Murillo Lima the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The Villa FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carlos Alberto Zonta during the 81st minute. Bruninho de Queirós stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dorian Varela's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Villa FC were victorious despite being under pressure from Vasqueiro FC for much of the match.
