With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bruninho de Queirós prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eusébio Miranda scored 0-3 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bruninho de Queirós, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

Egídio Brito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruninho de Queirós having to interfere. Bruninho de Queirós made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Eusébio Miranda sent off a good shot on target. After 55 minutes of play, Marfim's João Vítor de Salles made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bruninho de Queirós was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Villa FC's goalkeeper Bruninho de Queirós, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Villa FC's Bruninho de Queirós got control of the ball when Eusébio Miranda tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eusébio Miranda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 75th minute, Eusébio Miranda ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bruninho de Queirós was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Carlos Alberto Zonta scored 1-6 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luciano de Moraes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bruninho de Queirós didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eusébio Miranda went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-7 was the resulting score. João Vítor de Salles blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bruninho de Queirós having to make a save. The Marfim fans' excitement grew in the 92nd match minute when Marfim's Eusébio Miranda looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-8 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Reynaldo Rodrigues during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 95 played minutes Marfim got a freekick which was hit by Reynaldo Rodrigues.
