Luizão Queiroz hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Luizão Queiroz struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Luís Paulista didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Anarcos E.C. Anarcos E.C's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Dorian Varela 9 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Luís Paulista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luizão Queiroz in the 12th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Vasqueiro FC's Dorian Varela slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Manoel Tobias. That made the score 2-0 after 20 minutes of play. Horácio Linhares's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Manoel Tobias firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 35th minute Alberto Sarmento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Paulista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vasqueiro FC's Luís Paulista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Sarmento in the 39th minute of play. If Luizão Queiroz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Vasqueiro FC's zone, Alberto Sarmento stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luís Paulista came out of the goal and Alberto Sarmento tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Sarmento in the 43rd minute of play forced Vasqueiro FC's goalkeeper Luís Paulista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute, Luizão Queiroz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 46 minutes into the match, Anarcos E.C's goalkeeper Manoel Tobias had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Horácio Linhares. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

If Luizão Queiroz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anarcos E.C's Manoel Tobias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horácio Linhares in the 54th minute of play. In the 54th minute, Sydney Leme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Anarcos E.C getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Mazinho Meireles hit a great ball. After 61st play minutes Horácio Linhares shot 3-1, a short shot which went by Manoel Tobias and just under the crossbar into goal. Manoel Tobias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Horácio Linhares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 73rd minute Alberto Sarmento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Paulista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Vasqueiro FC's zone, Sydney Leme stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luís Paulista came out of the goal and Sydney Leme tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luizão Queiroz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Luís Paulista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 85th match minute, Vasqueiro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artur Paranaense to maneuver through the defense. In the 93rd minute, Horácio Linhares made a precise shot to the right of Manoel Tobias. Anarcos E.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Vasqueiro FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
