After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Jorginho Miranda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aroeira AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Jorginho Miranda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aroeira AD's Eliézer Tavares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Álvaro Urbano in the 20th minute of play. Elano Pirani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliézer Tavares having to interfere. After having played for 27 minutes, Celsinho Tande managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aroeira AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Celsinho Tande was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jorginho Miranda got free with Humberto Eger in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 30th minute Celsinho Tande shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Humberto Eger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd minute Álvaro Urbano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliézer Tavares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Jambradão Futebol e Rinha's zone, Celsinho Tande stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Humberto Eger came out of the goal and Celsinho Tande tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Álvaro Urbano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Eliézer Tavares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Elano Pirani's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eliézer Tavares was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. In the 44th match minute, Jambradão Futebol e Rinha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vítor Moreira to maneuver through the defense. If Celsinho Tande had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Celsinho Tande to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elano Pirani in the 52nd minute of play forced Aroeira AD's goalkeeper Eliézer Tavares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Aroeira AD getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Reynaldo Arósio hit a great ball. Humberto Eger was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dedé Prado's late challenge caught a Aroeira AD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dedé Prado helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Jambradão Futebol e Rinha getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Dedé Prado hit a great ball. Celsinho Tande recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With an all-out effort, Jambradão Futebol e Rinha's Eliézer Tavares threw himself towards the right post 71 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Elano Pirani, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Eliézer Tavares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elano Pirani in the 74th minute of the match. After having played for 82 minutes, Celsinho Tande managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aroeira AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Celsinho Tande was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Clóvis Dante hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Aroeira AD's zone, Álvaro Urbano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eliézer Tavares came out of the goal and Álvaro Urbano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 91st minute, Jorginho Miranda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 92nd minute of the match Matías Oliveira shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Humberto Eger showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 96th minute, Álvaro Urbano made a precise shot to the right of Eliézer Tavares. Aroeira AD's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. The Jambradão Futebol e Rinha players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Aroeira AD from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
