Spectators: 7510 (Terracing: 5633, Seating: 1727, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Juan Sabóia took the kick off in the first half of the match. 5 minutes into the match, Paulo dos Santos notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Massa Bruta's Túlio Torres. Túlio Torres was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Brejal's Luís Gustavo Marques got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Juan Sabóia took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Túlio Torres to make any attempt to save it. After 26 played minutes Massa Bruta got a freekick which was hit by Elano Leme. In the 27th minute, Franklin Prestes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 28 minutes into the game, Jorge Rossi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Túlio Torres. Jorge Rossi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. In the 31st minute, Rômulo Correia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diogo Matorin in the 37th minute of play forced Brejal's goalkeeper Paulão Marques to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paulo dos Santos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Túlio Torres made a huge save. In the 41st minute Juan Sabóia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Túlio Torres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 42nd play minute Leopoldo Veloso came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Túlio Torres. 6-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 6-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Diogo Matorin was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute, Juan Sabóia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Túlio Torres was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. 60 minutes into the match, Luís Gustavo Marques had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Túlio Torres. Massa Bruta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luís Gustavo Marques was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. After having played for 63 minutes, Juan Sabóia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brejal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juan Sabóia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With 65 minutes on the clock, Douglas Tróia commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 65 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Massa Bruta! In the 67th minute there was a penalty for Brejal. Franklin Prestes stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Túlio Torres. 9-0. Massa Bruta's Túlio Torres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo dos Santos in the 72nd minute of play. Túlio Torres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Gustavo Marques, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Túlio Torres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Gustavo Marques in the 76th minute of play. Túlio Torres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Danilo Bertassi in the 79th minute of the match. 98 minutes into the game, Diogo Matorin lined in a short shot 9-1 behind a frustrated Paulão Marques.
