Henrique Pires showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Sabóia in the 6th minute of the match. 6 minutes into the match, Shamrock United's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Sabóia came free, but Henrique Pires reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Gustavo Marques in the 7th minute of play forced Shamrock United's goalkeeper Henrique Pires to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Henrique Pires showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Régis de Moraes in the 12th minute of the match. Paulão Marques was out of position in the 23 minute of play, and Valdomiro Nascimento capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Valdomiro Nascimento really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. In the 30th minute, Juan Sabóia made a precise shot to the right of Henrique Pires. Shamrock United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. 42 minutes into the game, Brejal's Luís Gustavo Marques nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Henrique Pires made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. Danilo Bertassi kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. The supporters of Brejal booed when Shamrock United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ronaldão Marquez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

In the 52nd minute Luís Gustavo Marques shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrique Pires saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 54 minutes into the game, Régis de Moraes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Henrique Pires. Régis de Moraes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. Jeferson Prado charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jeferson Prado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Brejal's Jeferson Prado got a free kick in the 65th minute. Henrique Pires showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Sabóia, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. 73 minutes into the match, Shamrock United's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Sabóia came free, but Henrique Pires reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 91st minute, Brejal's Jorge Rossi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Henrique Pires. Henrique Pires yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-7. Paulo dos Santos scored 1-8 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Henrique Pires, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Brejal's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
