The referee ignored Warsaw Cowal's protests and gave Gernando Santana a yellow card for diving instead. Aurora FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Luiz Gustavo Dracena was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlos Fernando Dionísio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Warsaw Cowal made a substitution. Mário Cardoso replaced Zeca Donato. In the 81st minute of the match, Luiz Gustavo Dracena got a very nice opportunity to score, but Carlos Fernando Dionísio was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post.
