Fernandão Hermes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hortêncio Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseu Gaspar in the 25th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Cagada Ensaiada FC's Frédson Viana got a free kick in the 28th minute. If André Luiz Araújo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. André Luiz Araújo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hortêncio Amorim having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by André Luiz Araújo in the 94th minute of play forced Cagada Ensaiada FC's goalkeeper Hortêncio Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Cagada Ensaiada FC's zone, Eliseu Gaspar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hortêncio Amorim came out of the goal and Eliseu Gaspar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match was over S.C Parnaibense could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Cagada Ensaiada FC throughout the match.
