In the 16th minute Silvério Félix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marquinhos Fontes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st minute, Iuri Sanches left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Coringudo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. In the 24th minute, Basílio Neves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 25th minute of the match Valério de Almeida sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marquinhos Fontes skillfully saved the ball. After some careless play in the Cansancao AD defense, Iuri Vidal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alex Arce. The Cansancao AD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alex Arce should have stopped the shot. Marquinhos Fontes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdir Godoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Alex Arce managed to avoid a goal in the 34thth minute, when Coringudo's Iuri Sanches fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 36 minutes into the match, Coringudo's goal looked a bit too open when Valdir Godoi came free, but Marquinhos Fontes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 36 minutes into the game, Fiori Massa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Coringudo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cansancao AD the free kick. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Iuri Sanches made a kick off. Alex Arce showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iuri Vidal, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 52nd minute of the game, Fabinho de Alcântara landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. After 52 minutes, Lauro Peres mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cansancao AD and the Coringudo players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 54 played minutes Cansancao AD got a freekick which was hit by Lauro Peres. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Valdir Godoi took a quick shot and it went in 6-1 without a chance for Marquinhos Fontes to make any attempt to save it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luiz Fernando Lago during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Cansancao AD getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Luiz Fernando Lago hit a great ball. Valdir Godoi made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 73rdth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Marquinhos Fontes would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Valdir Godoi put it in 7-2 from a short distance just to the right of Marquinhos Fontes. If Iuri Sanches had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Coringudo's Marquinhos Fontes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Coringudo from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iuri Sanches in the 91st minute of play forced Cansancao AD's goalkeeper Alex Arce to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Coringudo fans cheered their team off the field, for while Cansancao AD had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
