Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Laércio Koehler started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Cansancao AD booed when ZAMBRAZUX was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serafim Cavalcante didn't get a good kick on the ball. ZAMBRAZUX's Ulysses Simão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvério Félix in the 3rd minute of play. Ulysses Simão was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Valdir Godoi showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, Cansancao AD's goal looked a bit too open when Laércio Koehler came free, but Alex Arce reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Cansancao AD defense, Falcão Siqueira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alex Arce. The Cansancao AD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alex Arce should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serafim Cavalcante in the 18th minute of play forced Cansancao AD's goalkeeper Alex Arce to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the match, ZAMBRAZUX's goalkeeper Ulysses Simão had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Valdir Godoi. When Pedro Paulo Souza fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ZAMBRAZUX's protests and gave Pedro Paulo Souza a yellow card for diving instead. After 25 played minutes ZAMBRAZUX got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Paulo Souza. Alex Arce took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serafim Cavalcante, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st minute Willian Chaves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulysses Simão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ulysses Simão didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 33rd minute, which inside left pole to 2-1. When Lauro Peres fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cansancao AD's protests and gave Lauro Peres a yellow card for diving instead. Lauro Peres kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. 46 minutes into the match, Silvério Félix dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ulysses Simão, 4-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-1.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Faustão Sabóia during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ulysses Simão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valdir Godoi in the 57th minute of the match. Faustão Sabóia hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Ulysses Simão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valério de Almeida, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Lauro Peres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 67th minute Silvério Félix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulysses Simão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alex Arce took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laércio Koehler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cansancao AD's defense didn't have a chance, in the 71st minute, when Laércio Koehler scored to the left of an out of position Alex Arce, making the score, 4-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valdir Godoi in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ulysses Simão saved ZAMBRAZUX from getting behind. Serafim Cavalcante kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Cansancao AD's Valdir Godoi got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Evandro Queirós fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ZAMBRAZUX's protests and gave Evandro Queirós a yellow card for diving instead. Evandro Queirós hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. In the 87th minute Silvério Félix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulysses Simão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ulysses Simão came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Cansancao AD's Silvério Félix. But to his dismay, Silvério Félix quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-3.
