The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Geovani Moreno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remo Pernambucano in the 6th minute of the match. Frédson Viana came free with the goalkeeper in the 7th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Geovani Moreno could save by the left post. Geovani Moreno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Guilherme Vasconcelos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Manoel Vale kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Frédson Viana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 22nd minute, Cagada Ensaiada FC's Luiz Guilherme Vasconcelos dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. The supporters of Cagada Ensaiada FC booed when SDR F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Paulo Lago didn't get a good kick on the ball. 30 minutes into the match, SDR F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Guilherme Vasconcelos came free, but Geovani Moreno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hortêncio Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inácio Neves in the 32nd minute of play. 38 minutes into the game, Cagada Ensaiada FC's Frédson Viana nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Geovani Moreno made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Geovani Moreno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Guilherme Vasconcelos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Frédson Viana to make the kick off. Geovani Moreno didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luiz Guilherme Vasconcelos went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Geovani Moreno stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Frédson Viana's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Geovani Moreno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remo Pernambucano, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remo Pernambucano in the 71st minute of play forced SDR F.C's goalkeeper Geovani Moreno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Luiz Guilherme Vasconcelos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 87 minutes of play, Cagada Ensaiada FC's Frédson Viana made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Geovani Moreno was left in no man's land by his defense there! Remo Pernambucano scored 5-0 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Geovani Moreno, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cagada Ensaiada FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
