In the 44th minute of the match, Edson Mota tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Laerte de Carvalho saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Laerte de Carvalho was a little too slow when José Paulo Moreira got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 45th minute. The score was now 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when José Paulo Moreira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Luís Fernando Dracena could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but André Luís dos Santos made a huge save. noname's Laerte de Carvalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remo Guimarães in the 53rd minute of play. Laerte de Carvalho came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Guatapara's Carlos Fernando Peres. But to his dismay, Carlos Fernando Peres quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edson Mota in the 61st minute of play forced noname's goalkeeper Laerte de Carvalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Laerte de Carvalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arthur Massa in the 63rd minute of the match. In the 67th minute Arthur Massa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laerte de Carvalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 68 minutes into the game, José Paulo Moreira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Laerte de Carvalho was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Guatapara's defense didn't have a chance, in the 71st minute, when Mauro Regueira scored to the left of an out of position André Luís dos Santos, making the score, 4-1. Rubens Bueno hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Laerte de Carvalho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arthur Massa, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. When Luís Fernando Dracena fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored noname's protests and gave Luís Fernando Dracena a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to noname getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Luís Fernando Dracena hit a great ball. In the 83rd minute, Arthur Massa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Laerte de Carvalho was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. 87 minutes into the match, noname's goal looked a bit too open when Arthur Massa came free, but Laerte de Carvalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. André Luís dos Santos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gervasio Divaichin in the 88th minute.
