Tião Sanches struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Dráusio de Queirós didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Taquary. In the 80th minute, Fred Munhoz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 84th minute, Válbson Alves fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Taquary's Geovanni Neto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Válbson Alves in the 91st minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, Taquary's goal looked a bit too open when Adriano Monteiro came free, but Geovanni Neto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Taquary succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Smashing PumpkinS had controlled the match.
