With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benjamin Reis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 12 minutes into the match, Sambô Laion FC's goal looked a bit too open when Agnaldo Santana came free, but Cauã Fernandez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Inajaroba EC's Benjamin Reis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Inajaroba EC from getting a goal against them. In the 14th minute, Frederico Mangueira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gilmar Corrêa made a kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Gilmar Corrêa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Benjamin Reis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Guga Teles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 60 played minutes Inajaroba EC got a freekick which was hit by Flavinho Neiva. After 64 minutes, Laerte Martins mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Inajaroba EC and the Sambô Laion FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 64th match minute, Inajaroba EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laerte Martins to maneuver through the defense. Inajaroba EC's Benjamin Reis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilmar Corrêa in the 65th minute of play. Sambô Laion FC's Wellington Duarte got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sambô Laion FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
