Spectators: 7478 (Terracing: 5610, Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tarcisio Massa started the match with the kick off. After 3 played minutes Banda AD got a freekick which was hit by Celsinho Severo. The supporters of Banda AD booed when Laions FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tarcisio Massa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Banda AD's Wilian Toledo shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 9th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Felipe Toledo but with some difficulty. In the 16th minute Tarcisio Massa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Augusto do Nascimento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zé Augusto do Nascimento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tarcisio Massa in the 17th minute of play. Felipe Toledo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gernando Matos in the 23rd minute of play. After 25 minutes, Magno Pitta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Banda AD and the Laions FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Magno Pitta kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the match, Banda AD's goal looked a bit too open when Tarcisio Massa came free, but Zé Augusto do Nascimento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gernando Matos who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 34thth minute tested the skills of Felipe Toledo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Gernando Matos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Felipe Toledo made a huge save. In the 39th minute, Douglas Medeiros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Celsinho Severo kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Zé Augusto do Nascimento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Célio Félix, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 46 minutes into the game, Celsinho Severo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Banda AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Laions FC the free kick. In the 46th match minute, Banda AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celsinho Severo to maneuver through the defense. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gernando Matos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Laions FC's Felipe Toledo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dorian Costa in the 56th minute of play. Banda AD's Zé Augusto do Nascimento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Célio Félix in the 58th minute of play. Felipe Toledo came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Banda AD's Gernando Matos. But to his dismay, Gernando Matos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 68 minutes into the match, Dorian Costa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Felipe Toledo. Laions FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dorian Costa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Gernando Matos charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gernando Matos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Banda AD getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Gernando Matos hit a great ball. Tarcisio Massa's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Zé Augusto do Nascimento firmly grabbed it by the left post. Felipe Toledo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cafu de Amaral, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. 84 minutes into the match, Laions FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gernando Matos came free, but Felipe Toledo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zé Augusto do Nascimento was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Frédson Abraão showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 86 minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, Banda AD's goalkeeper Zé Augusto do Nascimento had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tarcisio Massa. Felipe Toledo came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Banda AD's Gernando Matos. But to his dismay, Gernando Matos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2.
