Magno Figueiredo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cauã Fernandez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jean Tasso in the 16th minute of play. The Laions FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Sambô Laion FC were winning 0-5.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tarcisio Massa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Célio Félix struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Felipe Toledo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilmar Corrêa, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. If Célio Félix had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Laions FC's zone, Gilmar Corrêa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felipe Toledo came out of the goal and Gilmar Corrêa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 71 minutes into the game, Magno Figueiredo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-8. Felipe Toledo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Laions FC's Felipe Toledo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilmar Corrêa in the 74th minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, Laions FC's goalkeeper Felipe Toledo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Magno Figueiredo. After some careless play in the Sambô Laion FC defense, Célio Félix kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cauã Fernandez. The Sambô Laion FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cauã Fernandez should have stopped the shot. Fabinho de Sousa got his second yellow card in the match during the 87th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 88 played minutes Laions FC got a freekick which was hit by Fabinho de Sousa. After a rather tough play, Laions FC's Jean Tasso got a free kick in the 90th minute. In the 91st minute, Henry Hammen sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Laions FC's Felipe Toledo didn't even have to move. Douglas Medeiros was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 93 minutes into the match. In the 95th minute of the match Henry Hammen shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Felipe Toledo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 96th match minute, Laions FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frédson Abraão to maneuver through the defense. When the match was over Sambô Laion FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Laions FC throughout the match.
