Fellipe Dracena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amado Bañados, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Amado Bañados recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lokomotiva F.C.'s Fellipe Dracena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Maria Breckenfeld in the 40th minute of play. Lokomotiva F.C.'s Edvaldo Meirelles got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Oscar-Alfredo van der Sar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eusébio Abraão in the 45th minute of the match. Lokomotiva F.C. made a substitution. After 65 minutes of play, Frecheira EC's Amado Bañados made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fellipe Dracena was left in no man's land by his defense there! Frecheira EC's Amado Bañados managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Frédson Mello in the 82 minute of the game. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Lokomotiva F.C.'s goalkeeper Fellipe Dracena, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 85 minutes into the game, Dorival Toscano recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fellipe Dracena. Dorival Toscano showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. After some careless play in the Lokomotiva F.C. defense, Dorival Toscano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fellipe Dracena. The Lokomotiva F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fellipe Dracena should have stopped the shot. When the match was over Frecheira EC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Lokomotiva F.C. throughout the match.
