In the 24th minute, Douglas Medeiros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 28th minute Elano Fontes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felipe Toledo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felipe Toledo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aloísio Lira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fabinho de Sousa lost his temper 67 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 68th match minute, Laions FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabinho de Sousa to maneuver through the defense. If Célio Félix had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felipe Toledo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aloísio Lira in the 95th minute of the match. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
