But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mario Alberto Kempes couldn't finish the play. In the 18th minute, Gilles Michiels ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cristiano das Neves was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 21st minute, Aharbandhava Zhabin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Durval da Costa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Durval da Costa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erasmo Botelho in the 29th minute. In the 34th minute Warriors Máfia were awarded a corner. Sidney Viana went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Sidney Viana almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Borussia Steel F.C's Cristiano das Neves did a great save. Leopoldo Moura hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Warriors Máfia's goalkeeper Durval da Costa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mario Alberto Kempes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Rodrigo Prestes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

When Otsoko Amurrio fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Warriors Máfia's protests and gave Otsoko Amurrio a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Warriors Máfia's Otsoko Amurrio got a free kick in the 51st minute. After 53 played minutes Warriors Máfia got a freekick which was hit by Mario Alberto Kempes. Sidney Viana hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Lucjan Turacki hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Cristiano das Neves made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gilles Michiels in the 59th minute. Lucjan Turacki kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Doriva Alves ran back to his position shaking his head. When Victor Andone fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Warriors Máfia's protests and gave Victor Andone a yellow card for diving instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Warriors Máfia had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
