Spectators: 7536 (Terracing: 5653, Seating: 1733, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Zdzislaw Sienkowski kicked off to start the match. In the 6th minute Reynaldo Vinhas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adhemar Botelho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adhemar Botelho came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by SC CORINGÃO's Cafu Couto. But to his dismay, Cafu Couto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Zdzislaw Sienkowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 13th minute, Emanuel Freire hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The SC CORINGÃO fans' excitement grew in the 17th match minute when SC CORINGÃO's Cafu Couto looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Zdzislaw Sienkowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 21 minutes, Serginho Senna mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC CORINGÃO and the Barbie F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 21st minute, Serginho Senna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cafu Couto in the 23rd minute of play forced Barbie F.C's goalkeeper Adhemar Botelho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Leonardo Bueno fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barbie F.C's protests and gave Leonardo Bueno a yellow card for diving instead. In the 24th match minute, Barbie F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonardo Bueno to maneuver through the defense. In the 26th minute Reynaldo Vinhas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adhemar Botelho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Barbie F.C's Adhemar Botelho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cafu Couto in the 27th minute of play. After 28 minutes Barbie F.C's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Paulo José de Senna who took care of the corner kick. SC CORINGÃO's Paulo José de Senna was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Adhemar Botelho in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Adhemar Botelho came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by SC CORINGÃO's Reynaldo Vinhas. But to his dismay, Reynaldo Vinhas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 36th minute Reynaldo Vinhas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adhemar Botelho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zé Paulo do Nascimento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edinho de Godoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind SC CORINGÃO's goalkeeper Zé Paulo do Nascimento, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 46 minutes, Cafu Couto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC CORINGÃO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cafu Couto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half SC CORINGÃO were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Reynaldo Vinhas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Adhemar Botelho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Cafu Couto came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the SC CORINGÃO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cafu Couto couldn't finish the play. In the 59th match minute, Barbie F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Milosz Walec to maneuver through the defense. SC CORINGÃO's Zé Paulo do Nascimento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Milosz Walec in the 62nd minute of play. Cafu Couto scored 0-4 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Adhemar Botelho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, SC CORINGÃO's Nuno Souto got a free kick in the 71st minute. In the 72nd minute Zdzislaw Sienkowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Paulo do Nascimento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 78 played minutes SC CORINGÃO got a freekick which was hit by Nuno Souto. Reynaldo Vinhas was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 82nd minute. SC CORINGÃO's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 83rd minute, Luis Enaut hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adhemar Botelho didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 86th minute, which inside left pole to 0-5. Zdzislaw Sienkowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Zé Paulo do Nascimento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SC CORINGÃO were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Barbie F.C's much stronger midfield.
