An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Leal in the 14th minute of play forced Warriors Máfia's goalkeeper Durval da Costa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elliot Lind's late challenge caught a Warriors Máfia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elliot Lind helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to IPANEMA FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Elliot Lind hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Warriors Máfia's Mario Alberto Kempes got a free kick in the 16th minute. Durval da Costa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristián Montes, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 26th minute of the match Hudson Custódio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Durval da Costa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Henrique França took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Alberto Kempes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gilles Michiels fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henrique França having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in IPANEMA FC's zone, Gilles Michiels stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Henrique França came out of the goal and Gilles Michiels tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Henrique França made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Mario Alberto Kempes sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the IPANEMA FC defense, Rodrigo Prestes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Henrique França. The IPANEMA FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Henrique França should have stopped the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gilles Michiels stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gilles Michiels blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Henrique França having to make a save. Henrique França showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mario Alberto Kempes in the 54th minute of the match. Durval da Costa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristián Montes in the 56th minute of play. Henrique França took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucjan Turacki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 60 minutes into the match, IPANEMA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cezary Matela came free, but Henrique França reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 71 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Mario Alberto Kempes sped through IPANEMA FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Henrique França. The supporters of Warriors Máfia booed when IPANEMA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elliot Lind didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Warriors Máfia's Cezary Matela got a free kick in the 80th minute. Warriors Máfia's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
