Brillouin F.C.'s Evaristo Almeida was substituted for Luís Moraes. Adhemar Botelho had in the 24thth minute some difficulties stopping Fabrício Melo's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Leonardo Bueno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Isaltino Catarinense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zdzislaw Sienkowski in the 33rd minute of play. Inácio de Medeiros who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 36thth minute tested the skills of Adhemar Botelho when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 37 minutes into the game, Frédson Cearense was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Brillouin F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barbie F.C the free kick. Zdzislaw Sienkowski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Isaltino Catarinense having to make a save. A collision led to Brillouin F.C. getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. José Cruz hit a great ball. With a little luck, Barbie F.C's Adhemar Botelho got control of the ball when Anísio Rezende tried to sneak it across the goal line. Adhemar Botelho came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Brillouin F.C.'s Inácio de Medeiros. But to his dismay, Inácio de Medeiros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zdzislaw Sienkowski was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Milosz Walec reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Isaltino Catarinense. The goal made the score 1-1. 56 minutes into the game, Zdzislaw Sienkowski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Isaltino Catarinense was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Brillouin F.C.'s Isaltino Catarinense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Milosz Walec in the 60th minute of play. Adhemar Botelho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anísio Rezende in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 85th minute of the match Jânio Vieira sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Adhemar Botelho skillfully saved the ball. After 86 minutes, Inácio de Medeiros mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Brillouin F.C. and the Barbie F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 86 played minutes Brillouin F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Inácio de Medeiros. The supporters of Barbie F.C booed when Brillouin F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evaristo Almeida didn't get a good kick on the ball. Brillouin F.C.'s Isaltino Catarinense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Milosz Walec in the 90th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Barbie F.C left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Brillouin F.C..
