The supporters of Barbie F.C booed when ≋P≋L≋A≋Y≋B≋E≋A≋R≋ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcel Correia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fabiano de Alcântara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edinho de Godoi in the 10th minute of play. 15 minutes into the game, Edinho de Godoi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fabiano de Alcântara. Edinho de Godoi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Isaltino Gaúcho struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Adhemar Botelho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ≋P≋L≋A≋Y≋B≋E≋A≋R≋. Fabiano de Alcântara stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Milosz Walec's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. In the 39th minute, Milosz Walec ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fabiano de Alcântara was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind ≋P≋L≋A≋Y≋B≋E≋A≋R≋'s goalkeeper Fabiano de Alcântara, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zdzislaw Sienkowski made a kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as ≋P≋L≋A≋Y≋B≋E≋A≋R≋'s Osmar Loureiro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Adhemar Botelho. That made the score 3-1 after 51 minutes of play. Adhemar Botelho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isaltino Gaúcho in the 54th minute. Adhemar Botelho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Osmar Loureiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Osmar Loureiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. ≋P≋L≋A≋Y≋B≋E≋A≋R≋'s supporters rose to their feet, but Osmar Loureiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adhemar Botelho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Edinho de Godoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Fabiano de Alcântara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elivélton Leal charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elivélton Leal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 75 played minutes ≋P≋L≋A≋Y≋B≋E≋A≋R≋ got a freekick which was hit by Elivélton Leal. Luís Recife was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 81 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 81st minute of the game. One of Barbie F.C:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of ≋P≋L≋A≋Y≋B≋E≋A≋R≋:s goal. 4-2 became the score in the 86th minute when Zdzislaw Sienkowski elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 91 minutes of play, Barbie F.C's Zdzislaw Sienkowski made it 5-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fabiano de Alcântara was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Milosz Walec in the 97th minute of play forced ≋P≋L≋A≋Y≋B≋E≋A≋R≋'s goalkeeper Fabiano de Alcântara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Barbie F.C walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
