Norberto Vides struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Luisão Carvalho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Thor F.C.. Ivo Quintal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luisão Carvalho having to interfere. With a little luck, Ciza EC's Luisão Carvalho got control of the ball when Maicon Couto tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match clock showed 18 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Maicon Couto sped through Ciza EC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Luisão Carvalho. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Silvinho Lopez in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Renan de Lima prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Renan de Lima stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Silvinho Lopez's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. In the 30th match minute, Thor F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafa Neto to maneuver through the defense. 32 minutes into the game, Ciza EC's Dagoberto Pontes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Renan de Lima made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Remo Pontes kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the 41st match minute, Ciza EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Remo Pontes to maneuver through the defense. Dagoberto Pontes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Percy Senna's late challenge caught a Thor F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Percy Senna helped the player get up and apologised. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dagoberto Pontes made a kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Paulo José Madureira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Luisão Carvalho was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Norberto Vides managed to get in a good position for a shot. Thor F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Norberto Vides was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luisão Carvalho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 58 minutes into the match, Thor F.C.'s Maicon Couto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luisão Carvalho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Maicon Couto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Luisão Carvalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luisão Carvalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo José Madureira in the 71st minute of the match. Norberto Vides kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Renan de Lima came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Ciza EC's Silvinho Lopez. But to his dismay, Silvinho Lopez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. Renan de Lima made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dagoberto Pontes in the 90th minute of play. Thor F.C.'s Renan de Lima played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dagoberto Pontes in the 99th minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Thor F.C. players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
