Spectators: 5050 (Terracing: 4050, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) RJMARTINS's Thomás Santos started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rdth minute of the game Thomás Santos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but E.C.Bahia's Wilson Silva was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 11th match minute, RJMARTINS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wellington Marquez to maneuver through the defense. Raphael Vergílio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 14 minutes into the match, E.C.Bahia's goalkeeper Wilson Silva had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Thomás Santos. In the 17th minute, Ademir Leite hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Raphael Vergílio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Nelsinho Marquez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, E.C.Bahia's Raphael Vergílio got a free kick in the 24th minute. When Andrézinho Branco came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the E.C.Bahia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andrézinho Branco couldn't finish the play. E.C.Bahia's Raphael Vergílio got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of E.C.Bahia booed when RJMARTINS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wellington Marquez didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to RJMARTINS getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Serafim Massa hit a great ball. If Andrézinho Branco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wilson Silva didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Thomás Santos went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Raphael Vergílio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nelsinho Marquez having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

After 52 minutes, Josué Novaes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the RJMARTINS and the E.C.Bahia players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, RJMARTINS's Josué Novaes got a free kick in the 52nd minute. With an all-out effort, E.C.Bahia's Nelsinho Marquez threw himself towards the right post 55 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Andrézinho Branco, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 57 played minutes RJMARTINS got a freekick which was hit by Josué Novaes. Wilson Silva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thomás Santos, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Wellington Marquez hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thomás Santos in the 66th minute of play forced E.C.Bahia's goalkeeper Wilson Silva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wellington Marquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilson Silva having to interfere. After 71 minutes of play, RJMARTINS's Thomás Santos made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wilson Silva was left in no man's land by his defense there! Wellington Marquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilson Silva having to interfere. After a rather tough play, E.C.Bahia's Aílton Pirlo got a free kick in the 82nd minute. If Raphael Vergílio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andrézinho Branco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Nelsinho Marquez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When RJMARTINS's Thomás Santos in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. José Maria de Queiroz kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Nelsinho Marquez made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Ademir Leite sent off a good shot on target. E.C.Bahia's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because RJMARTINS had won, even though E.C.Bahia had held more of the ball.
