Maicon Couto started the match with the kick off. Renan de Lima didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wellington França went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Dário Lopes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Renan de Lima having to make a save. A collision led to Carmelopolis getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Naldo Macedo hit a great ball. If Dário Lopes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 27th minute, Rafa Neto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Carmelopolis's Dário Lopes in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Thor F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. Dário Lopes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 31 minutes into the match, Thor F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Fernandinho Luz came free, but Renan de Lima reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Fernandinho Luz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Renan de Lima was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. After 36 minutes of play, Carmelopolis's Fernandinho Luz made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Renan de Lima was left in no man's land by his defense there! 39 minutes into the match, Thor F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Dário Lopes came free, but Renan de Lima reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 42 minutes into the game, Dário Lopes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Renan de Lima was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fernandinho Luz took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Renan de Lima. Renan de Lima dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-6 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fernandinho Luz made a kick off. Dário Lopes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Renan de Lima tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Naldo Macedo took a quick shot and it went in 0-7 without a chance for Renan de Lima to make any attempt to save it. Carmelopolis's Fernandinho Luz got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fernandinho Luz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dário Lopess short, quick shot in the 63rdth minute got Renan de Lima to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Naldo Macedo in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Renan de Lima saved Thor F.C. from getting behind. Renan de Lima was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dário Lopes showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-8 in the 67 minute of play. After having played for 73 minutes, Wellington França managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carmelopolis's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wellington França was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 0-9 became the score in the 74th minute when Dário Lopes elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 79 played minutes Carmelopolis got a freekick which was hit by Wellington França. In the 82nd minute, Fernandinho Luz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Renan de Lima was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-10. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Wellington França managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carmelopolis's supporters rose to their feet, but Wellington França was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Renan de Lima breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Renan de Lima took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Naldo Macedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 89th match minute, Carmelopolis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardinho de Amorim to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maicon Couto in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Betinho Rezende prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 92 minutes of play, Carmelopolis's Fernandinho Luz made it 0-11 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Renan de Lima was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 96th match minute, Carmelopolis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruy de Godoi to maneuver through the defense. Carmelopolis's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
