In the 37th minute, Manteninha's Víktor Ferreira ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Andrézinho Melo. Andrézinho Melo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-0. Víktor Ferreiras short, quick shot in the 42ndth minute got Andrézinho Melo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to Manteninha getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Noel Zonta hit a great ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Víktor Ferreira to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Manteninha got a freekick which was hit by Luís Guilherme Lara. 55 minutes into the match, Célio Cardoso notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Manteninha's Geovânio Rosado. Geovânio Rosado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Andrézinho Melo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Víktor Ferreira, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. 67 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Manteninha's Víktor Ferreira fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. In the 71st minute Noel Zonta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrézinho Melo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, Tigres SC's goal looked a bit too open when Cléberson Faria came free, but Andrézinho Melo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Víktor Ferreira in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andrézinho Melo saved Tigres SC from getting behind. Víktor Ferreira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Andrézinho Melo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tigres SC's Andrézinho Melo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Víktor Ferreira in the 88th minute of play. Afonso Terra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrézinho Melo having to interfere. Andrézinho Melo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Víktor Ferreira in the 91st minute of the match. Andrézinho Melo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Víktor Ferreira's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Manteninha had played much better football throughout.
