Edinho Pena came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Bahamas FC's Agostinho Pombal. But to his dismay, Agostinho Pombal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Cornelio Inko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 15 played minutes, Bahamas FC's Leopoldo Tasso shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Edinho Pena came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bahamas FC reached it. After 15 played minutes La Academia Imortal got a freekick which was hit by Luís Guilherme Silva. After having played for 16 minutes, Cornelio Inko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bahamas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cornelio Inko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 18thth minute of the game Cornelio Inko who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but La Academia Imortal's Edinho Pena was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Agostinho Pombal notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of La Academia Imortal's Edinho Pena. Edinho Pena was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 23 minutes, Cornelio Inko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bahamas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cornelio Inko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 25 minutes into the match, Agostinho Pombal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edinho Pena. La Academia Imortal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Agostinho Pombal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Edinho Pena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agostinho Pombal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Agostinho Pombal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bahamas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Agostinho Pombal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edinho Pena breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agostinho Pombal in the 36th minute of play forced La Academia Imortal's goalkeeper Edinho Pena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 38 minutes into the match, La Academia Imortal's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Lima came free, but Edinho Pena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Agostinho Pombal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edinho Pena was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. Agostinho Pombal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cornelio Inko scored 0-4 in the 49th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edinho Pena, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half Bahamas FC were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After a rather tough play, La Academia Imortal's Diamantino Ramalho got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind La Academia Imortal's goalkeeper Edinho Pena, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Luís Guilherme Silva charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luís Guilherme Silva the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Bahamas FC booed when La Academia Imortal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Guilherme Silva didn't get a good kick on the ball. 63 minutes into the game, Cornelio Inko recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Edinho Pena. Cornelio Inko showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. Cornelio Inko took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edinho Pena. Edinho Pena dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. Edinho Pena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cornelio Inko in the 77th minute of play. Cornelio Inko struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Edinho Pena didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bahamas FC. La Academia Imortal's Edinho Pena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agostinho Pombal in the 80th minute of play. After having played for 83 minutes, Cornelio Inko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bahamas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cornelio Inko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cornelio Inko struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Edinho Pena didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bahamas FC. Agostinho Pombal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Edinho Pena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 91st minute of the match, Cornelio Inko tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Edinho Pena saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 93 played minutes Cornelio Inko rounded La Academia Imortal's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-8. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Bahamas FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
