An unexpectedly hard shot by João Paulo Paraense in the 26th minute of play forced Renegados's goalkeeper Dorian de Lima to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. But to his dismay, João Paulo Paraense quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. 46 minutes into the game, 温珂桑 cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Dorian de Lima was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After 55 played minutes Clube de Regatas Bangs got a freekick which was hit by Nicolas Arruda. Albertinho Vieira was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 57th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. A collision led to Clube de Regatas Bangs getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Germano Cearense hit a great ball. When João Paulo Paraense fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Clube de Regatas Bangs's protests and gave João Paulo Paraense a yellow card for diving instead. Through an outstanding action, after 66 minutes, Dorian de Lima successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 温珂桑 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Dorian de Lima made a huge save. Dorian de Lima was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Clube de Regatas Bangs supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Clube de Regatas Bangs would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
