Cametá SC's Romário Porto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Cametá SC from getting a goal against them. Jacinto Trevisan charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jacinto Trevisan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jacinto Trevisan kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eliézer Negri couldn't finish the play. Romário Porto came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Pontal FC's Magno Eger. But to his dismay, Magno Eger quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 39 minutes into the match, Cametá SC's goalkeeper Romário Porto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Magno Eger. Sílvio Amorim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romário Porto having to interfere. After 44 played minutes Cametá SC got a freekick which was hit by Jacinto Trevisan. In the 45th minute, Sílvio Amorim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Romário Porto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nuno de Moraes in the 47th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Magno Eger struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Romário Porto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pontal FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sílvio Amorim in the 95th minute of play forced Cametá SC's goalkeeper Romário Porto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Pontal FC fully deserved thier win.
